The food was nice, plenty of choice at breakfast and lunch, and a different menu every night at both Enid’s and the sunset. I think this is an oversight from the hotel.
It also meant I barely used my phone, which isn’t a bad thing, but it meant I didn’t share any photos or “check ins” of my holiday on social media as I usually would, which would have promoted the hotel to any of my friends considering Barbados. My husband still had to work, which he can do from his phone, but it meant he had to leave me to go and work in the bar area, when usually he can work from his sun lounger and we can enjoy some rare time together. We agreed it wasn’t worth paying for how little time we’d be in the room, but then we’re disappointed that not all the public areas had WiFi, purely just the lobby, and the sunset restaurant, meaning none by the pool. Our only complaint would be that WiFi was charged extra if you wanted it in your room, for a resort of this price range I would expect it to be included. Our room was huge, with an outside terrace. Check in was easy, we were given rum punch as we waited, which was welcomed after the journey. They had stayed previously and when they told us they were going we decided to go along with them. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days with his parents.
